THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
By-law Number 4188-00.P
BEING A BY-LAW to
remove the requirement for
residents to produce a rabies
certificate for dog licences.
WHEREAS Subsections 210 (11) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.45, as amended
authorizes the Council of a local municipality to pass by-laws for the licensing of dogs;
AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacted By-
law 3983-98.P, being the Dog Control and Licensing By-law;
AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it
necessary and expedient to amend By-law 3983-98.P;
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Subsection 2.10 of By-law 3983-98.P be repealed
2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and take effect upon third
reading thereof.
