DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Councillor McKenzie declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts
paid to Herb McKenzie Auto Parts, due to monetary interest in same, and did
not take part in or vote on any questions in this regard, or attempt in any
way to influence the voting on such question.
Councillor Timpson declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts paid
to the York Region Board of Education due to errployrnent with same, and did
not take part in or vote on any questions in this regard, or attempt in any
way to influence the voting on such question.

Mr. Harrison appeared on behalf of the Aurora Fruit Market to request that

the provision of affordable rental housing in the C(JJJ[llllllity. He also asked
Council to request that the Ministry make every effort to hasten its
approval of this Official Plan amendment.

to close Wells Street, between Centre Street and Wellington Street,
and Centre Street, at the CN railway crossing, for a 6 month trial
period.

THAT the Regional Municipality of York be requested to implement
turning restrictions on Wellington Street (YR. 15) such that no
left turns will be permitted from Walton Drive to Wellington Street
between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and no right turns
will be permitted from Wellington Street to Walton Drive between
the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. with the exception of bus
traffic in both cases, for a 6 month trial period; and
THAT the temporary road closure of Wells Street between Centre
Street and Wellington Street, and Centre Street, at the CN railway
crossing, and turning restrictions take effect upon completion of
the Yonge Street/Wellington Street intersection signal
improvements; and
THAT funds to implement the temporary road closures and turning
restrictions be provided from Operations Account Number 313-310.

'IHAT, upon the recorrmendation of the Director of Public Works, the
Director of Building Administration, the Director of Leisure
Services, and the Fire Chief, the financial security held in the
amount of $17,500.00 in connection with the Site Plan Agreement No.
SP-87-23 between The Corporation of the Town of Aurora and Southold
Investments (Blayrview Convenience Centre) 69 McLeod Drive may now
be released in its entirety.
