the Planning Advisory Committee Meeting Number OB-91, Report PL91-023-061 -
Implications of Official Plan Redesignation, Industrial Parkway South -
Diana Leeming in Trust, due to his business location being within 400 feet
of the subject property, and did not take part in or vote on any questions
in this regard, or attempt in any way to influence the voting on such
questions.
Councillor Timpson declared a possible Conflict of Interest in the portion
of the budget dealing with the sidewalk proposed for Wellington Street West,
as the sidewalk abuts his residence, and did not take part in or vote on any
questions in this regard, or attempt in any way to influence the voting on
such questions.

Captain Ferguson Mobbs presented the Mayor with a poster denoting the 50th
Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets -April, 1941 to 1991, over
which time over one million young people have become members of the
organization.

Application
THAT the application to the Ministry of Transportation for
Demonstration Project funding be approved; and
THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the application
under Corporate Seal.
PW91-020-064 -Agreement for Engineering Services -Aurora Heights Culvert
Replacement
THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign an agreement to
provide for the basis of engineering services for the captioned
project.
PW91-021-065 -Yonge Street & St. John's Sideroad Reconstruction
THAT Council receive the report as information.
TR91-006-066 -Annual Petition for Subsidy Payment Under the Public
Transportation and Highway Improvement Act on the Expenditures Made for
Public Transportation During the Year 1990
THAT Council authorize a request for payment of subsidy on the
expenditures of $181,390.75, in accordance with the subsidy
allocation made to the Corporation of the Town of Aurora under the
Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act.

Operating Assistance Programme for 1991

the amount of $73,954.00 for the Transit operating expenditures be

finalization of the Site Plan Agreement.

PW91-012-071 -Street Name Signs Uniformity

THAT Council receive the attached specification relating to the
production of uniform street name signs as information; and
THAT Council provide direction on a policy that would allow
consideration of alternative street name sign designs only upon
specific requests made to the Town.

PW91-016-072 -Revision of Refuse Collection and Disposal By-law 3030-88

THAT By-law 3030-88, a system for the collection, removal and
disposal of refuse in the Town, be revised to incorporate, amongst
other matters, the prohibition of certain classes of waste as
adopted by the Council of The Regional Municipality of York,
December 13, 1990.

THAT restrictions on the usage of municipally supplied water be
lifted on a trial basis to September 1991; and

water only upon the declaration of a water shortage emergency.

THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the agreement
between the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario and the Town of
Aurora to provide for the construction of highway improvements at
the intersection of Industrial Parkway South and King's Highway
Number 11.
