Councillor McKenzie declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts
paid to Herb McKenzie Auto Parts, due to monetary interest in same, and did
not take part in or vote on any questions in this regard, or attempt in any
way to influence the voting on such question.
Councillor Pedersen declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts
paid to Canada law Book due to employment with same, and did not take part
in or vote on any questions in this regard, or attempt in any way to
influence the voting on such question.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA

THAT the content of the Agenda be approved as outlined herein.
AMENDMENT: Upon the question of the adoption of the resolution it was:

THAT the issue of a basketball post and net on Spyglass Court and
the issue regarding the sa 1 e of frozen yogurt be added to the
Agenda under Unfinished Business.

The resolution CARRIED AS AMENDED.
DElEGATION
Mr. Paul English addressed Council with regard to a basketball post and net
he had erected on the road allowance on Spyglass Court. Mr. English lfves
at 8 Trillium Drive, which is a corner lot at Trillium Drive and Spyglass
Court. Mr. Englfsh stated that he had been approached by the By-law
Officer, stating complaints had been received about the post and net. Mr.
English requested Council to allow temporary approval of the post and net

until October 15, 1990, at which time he would poll the neighbours for
comments. Mr. English would post restrictions that the net was for
neighbourhood children only, and post hours of use.

THAT the current Taxi licence Distribution Ratio of 1:1000 remain
unchanged at this time.

THAT a By-law be enacted to regulate owner and drivers of
Limousines/Livery Cabs.
THAT Limousine Licence/livery Cabs Plates be issued.
THAT Masquerade Livery Service be granted an additional livery Cab
licence.
Cl90-021-168 -Easements, Lots 121, 122 and 123 Plan 65M-2376
THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documentation
necessary to amend the Easements on lots 121, 122 and 123, Plan
65M-2376 from 3 metres to 1. 2 metres providing a 11 necessary
documentation is in place.

THAT the parking agreement between the Town and Rosenburg and
Company be revised to allow the assignment of up to eight reserved

THAT Tender P. W. -1990-01 for the reconstruction of Church Street
from Yonge Street to Victoria Street be awarded to the low bidder
Keskon Servicing Inc. at its bid price of $205,287.00.
THAT a contingency allowance of $10,000.00 be approved for this
project.

THAT Council adopt a resolution to amend Resolution Number 727, as
adopted by the Council of the Town of Aurora on October 5, 1988.
THAT the Regional Municipality of York be requested to design and
construct a new water booster pumping station, new eleva ted water
storage tank, with interconnecting waterma ins, together with
acquisition of all necessary land therefore, all to serve the West
and South parts of the Town of Aurora Municipal water service ~rea,
at an estimated cost of $2,662,320.00.
THAT the Town of Aurora agree to pay the entire cost of the subject
works, estimated at a cost of $2,662,320.00
THAT the cost estimated at $2,662,320.00 will be paid from a
combination of current revenue and municipal reserve funds.

THAT parking be allowed 24 hours a day in the recessed areas around
the Town Park on Wells Street, Mosley Street, Metcalfe Street and
Larmont Street, and that 3 spaces on each of the above streets be
allotted for handicapped parking, and, if necessary, an amendment
to the Parking By-law be made.
