Mayor West declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts paid to
Decor Glass and did not take part in or vote on any questions in this
regard, or attempt in any way to influence the voting on such question.
Councillor Timpson declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts paid
to York Region Board of Education due to employment with same, and also
declared a possible Conflict of Interest in the resolution authorizing the
Mayor and Clerk to execute a partial release of Option on lands owned by
Armadale Properties, as same is intended to be conveyed to York Region Board
of Education, and did not take part in or vote on any questions in this
regard, or attempt in any way to influence the voting on such question.

THAT the letter advising of the provision of Extended Area Service
be received, and a letter be sent to Bell Canada advising that the
Council of the Town of Aurora objects to the exclusion of access to
lines servicing the Richmond Hill and Thornhill areas from the
Extended Area Service.

application for registration under the Land Titles Act, by Maple
Lane Lands and Development Company Limited, for the lands comprised
as Part Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Lot 79, Concession 1, W.Y.S.; and
THAT all rights to any Notice of Application for first registration
in respect to the application by Maple Lane Lands and Development
Company Limited, under the provisions of The Land Titles Act, be
waived.

THAT upon the recommendation of W. Walker, Director of Public
Works, the financial securities held in the amount of $25,000.00
for Spectrum Educational Supplies and $8,000.00 for K.C. Holdings
being held in connection with Site Plan obligations be released in
their entirety.

National Volunteer Week

THAT the week of April 9 -15, 1989, be proclaimed "National
Volunteer Week" in the Town of Aurora; and
THAT the Association of Municipalities be requested to support a
resolution to allow amendments to the Income Tax provisions,
reinstating the abi 1 ity to deduct 100% of charitab 1 e contributions
made to designated agencies.
