Present Were: Mayor Timpson, Councillors Jones, Ochalski, Ostick, Pedersen,
Stewart, Stoddart and West.
Councillor Buck sent her regrets.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Councillor Stewart declared a possible conflict of interest in By-Law Number
2500-82 and did not take part in the consideration of or vote on any question in
this regard or attempt in any way to influence the voting on such question.

The Committee respectfully submits the following:
A meeting of the Works Committee was held on Monday, April 26th, 1982 in Committee
Room Number 1 at the Administrative Centre at 7:00 p.m.
Present Were: Councillor T. Jones, Councillor E. Stewart, Councillor L. Ostick
and Town Superintendent Wm.G. Walker.

As a result of having heard various concerns expressed by Mrs. Gordon, the
Committee,would recommend that the Public Safety Committee undertake a study
with respect to the designation of "No Parking" areas on George Street
following reconstruction of same.

A field meeting has been set up involving the Works Committee members and
the Town Consultant to go over in detail proposed outstanding and

Superintendent, Final Payment Certificate Number 4 -Reconstruction of
Ransom. Street and Temperance Street -Contract Number M.C. 1980-1, in
the amount of $7,869.74, be released at this time to Hulstown
Contracting Limited.

6. Core Area Study
West: Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora has called
Pedersen: for propos a 1 s for a "Core Area Study", and
Whereas the Council has established a budget for the proposed study of
$45,000.,
Therefore Be It Resolved that the Ministry of Housing and Municipal
Affairs Community Planning Advisory Branch be requested to provide the
maximum amount of funding available under its Community Planning Study
Grant Program.

1. July First Budget
Councillor Ochalski presented the July First Budget to the Administration
Committee.
2. Complaints Regarding the Condition of Certain Areas of Town
Councillor Ochalski outlined a number of areas in Town, where citizens had
complained regarding the unsightly condition of same. Property Maintenance
Officers are to check these areas and have them cleaned up.
3. Lighting -Old Bloomington Road
West: Resolved that the cost of illuminating the intersection of the west end
Stoddart: of the Old Bloomington Road and the new Bloomington Road be obtained
from the Aurora Hydro Manager for the next Council in Committee
meeting.
