I1;em #1: Mr. Mike Felcher and Mr. Raymond presented a revised
---site plan for a proposed apartment. The above applicants are
requesting an amending by-law for exception to By-law #1863.

Council in Committee were adVised of a grant available for $1;0,000.00
under the Winter Capital. Projects Fund. .
Council in Committee would recommend that the Library Board be
advised and to have a joint meeting of the Library Liaison Committee
so that they can determine if a revised building plan could be
designed in conjunction with the reduced available grant.
Item #3: Furnishings for New Works Building
Council in Committee discussed the requirements for furnishing this
buildi~g and would recommend a current inventory on existing office
furniture be compiled.
Item~: Request for car allowance expense -Letter 1?-71
Council in Committee would request additional informatJ.on be obtained
based on employee use.

Council in COmmittee would recommend that the opinions of various
organizations and clubs be sought on interest in promoting a
lottery for a civic sports proposal.
Item #7: Aurora Horticultural Society -Letter 1Z-22 Request for

Council in Committee would request that a financial statement be
obtained.

Council in Committee were advised of the above transaction and wauld
agree in principle to the conditions outlined and further that the
Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign an a!reement.
Item #11: Regional Municipality of York. letter 16-3-Redistribution
of Ontario Electorarnistricts :
Council in Committee would advise that they are not in favour of the.
proposed boundary changes and adopt the brief p:tepared and
presented by Mr. Hodgson, M.L.A.
Item #n2: Request for larger culvert capacity, letter 16-56
Council in Committee were advised of the above letter and would
advise a larger capacity culvert has been included in the design.
The previous complaints.·;t!.n this area as well as the letter have
been taken into consideration in preparing the reconstruction plans.

Budget adjustment
Council in Committee was advised of the above letter.
Item ~4: Aurora Minor Hockey, Letter 12, -Financial statement
Council in Committee would request additional information from
the Town Treasurer.
Item ~5: Aurora Bus Lines, Letter 16-2
Council in Committee received a financial letter indicating
operating expenses and revenue. Council is still awaiting the
financial information requested.
Item ~6: Tridel Construction Ltd. -Colour samples gf exterio~r
brick for future apartment building, Wellington St. W.
and McDonald Drive
Council in C-ommittee would request under the site plan agreement
additional colour samples and variety in the bricksnrface also
a report on their proposed future property maintenance program.
Item ~7: New Legion Building Services, Letter 16-22
Council in Committee were advised that the services to this
building are acceptable and would recommend that the new road be
accepted and further that by-laws be prepared for the dedication of
road allowances.
Item #18: Letter 1 -68
Council in ommit ee were advised of the above letter and would
recommend that Councillor R. Simmons meet with Mr. Hughes, proposed
meeting to be on September 11th. 10:00 A.M.
Item #19: Reguest for walkway fencing, Letter 16-73
Council in Committee were advised of the above request and would
refer this item to the Works Department for installation.
Item #20: Consideration of Personal objection made by E. M. Buck
at the increased cost of the proposed York Regional Police
Complex, in the Town of Richmond Hill
Council in Committee in conaideration of the amount of over

expenditure and the circumstances under which the additional
funds were approved would recommend that Council appeal the
decision of the Region of York to the Ontario Municipal Board,
and would request that an early hearing be held concerning the
application or modifications to the proposed buildipg which would
reduce the cost.
