In respect of application (Schedule "A", Submission A3/74) by
Mr. Philip Vito, 248 Woodmount Place, Newmarket, Ontario,
requesting relief from Town of Aurora By-Law 1863 (as amended)
with respect to Part 1, Block A, Plan 535, Town of Aurora, the
Committee of Adjustment, Town of Aurora, has this day issued the
following Decision.
DECISION: "THAT tentative approval is granted to this application
and the Committee of Adjustment, Town of Aurora, is
prepared to issue a final order consenting to the
variance as set out in the application, upon compliance
with the CONDITION of consent as follows."
CONDITION OF CONSENT:
(1) THAT a strip of land ten feet in width along the one
hundred and twenty-four decimal nine six feet frontage
of the subject property, be deeded to the Regional
Municipality of York for road-widening purposes, and
that the Regional Municipality of York be provided with
a good marketable title in fee simple free from
encumbrances.
REASONS FOR THE DECISION:
(1) There were no objections either written or spoken to
the granting of the variance.
(2) The applicant assured the Committee that the front line
of the new addition would be a straight-line continu-
ation of the existing building as sketched on the
survey accompnanying the application.
(3) The Commissioner of Engineering of the Regional
Municipality of York, The Planning Committee of the
Town of .Aurora Council, and the Principal Planner of the
Area S~,wices Branch Regional. Municipality of York, in

Mayor Buck :presented a reprrt of Council in Committee in which
the Committee respectfully submitted the following:
A meeting of Council in Co.mmittee was held on Monday, July 8th.
1974 in the Council Chambers at 8:00 :p.m.
Present were: Mayor E. Buck.
Councillors: Davis, Henderson, Miller, Simmons,

Item #1. Temporary Help and Summer Staff Wages
Council in Committee would recommend that this matter be
discussed further between the various Department Heads concerned
and theClerk Administrator and a report submitted to the next
Council meeting.
Item #2. Interim Aurora Official Plan
Council in Committee would recommend that as soon as all the maps
and detailed information is available, Council in Committee schedule
a further meeting to review same :prior to having the Official
Plan :printed and circulated during the summer months, with a
:planned hearing to be held in September.

Council in Committee discussed this request for approval of
the above-noted project as a limited dividend project and in as
much as Council's understanding is that this only pertains to the
method of financing and the setting of rental rates and does not
affect the quality of construction of the building, the Committee
would recommend that Council approve of this project as a limited
dividend project, subject to a site-plan agreement being
entered into which is nov; in the preparation.

Council in Committee discussed this matter and would recommend
that the Clerk-Administrator advertise this position and that the
advertisement would specify that salary be commensurate with
experience and ability.

Aurora Bus Lines request for review of Contract and

Council in Committee discussed this matter and would recommend that
Mr. Farquharson attend the next Council in Committee meeting, at
a time to be notified, with his proposed new routes and timing
schedule, which were requested several months ago and that such
proposal be presented for discussion at the next meeting along with
consideration for a revised remuneration.
