REPORTS .QE COMMITTEES CONT 1 D
plan 107, Town of Aurora, the Committee of Adjustment, Town of Aurora, has
this day issued the following Decision,
DECISION: "THAT the request for severance'· be denied,"
Reasons for Decision:
(1) There was strong and justifiable opposition to the granting of
the severance on the part of a substantial number of neighbouring
residents.
(2) That other than the applicant, there was no direct support, either
verbal or written, tb the granting of the severance,
(3) There are major violations of Zoning By-law 1863 and
granting of the severance applied for would only compound
these variances,
(4) It would appear from the information available to the
Committee of Adjustment that the applicant has granted
to Bell Canada an option to obtain an easement, consisting
of a 25 ft. by 25ft. right angle triangle at the north west
corner of the subject property and in the opinion of the
Committee this would create a further major obstacle to
the granting of the requested severance.
Harris:
Henderson:

of Ad\ustment be approved."
