"Amendment:
In view of the Mayor's verbal report of a meeting between
himself, the Town Engineer and Mr. Dawson, the Provincial
Engineer, when he stated that re-constructedroads narrower
than 28 feet were eligible for the 50% Provincial Grant,
and because of the decrease of cost to the Aurora Taxpayer,
and as there is no contemplated development by Aurora or the
Region in this area,
and becasue of the strong objection to the widening of this
street to 28 feet by the majority of Kennedy Street residents,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Engineer be requested to prepare
plans for a 22 ft. road for Kennedy Street, West.
