CARRIED DELEGATION: Aurora Snowmobile Club Mr. D. Lewis 0 President; and Mr. Jone~;~; Secretai'y of the Snowmobile Club, appeared as a delegation. Mr. jones presented information on the aims of th$ club, its member.~;~hip and rules. '· CARRIED NOTICE OF MOTION AND NEW BUSINESS Mayor IllingWorth stated that he will be absent from the Municipality from February 25 to 27, 1969. Councillor Davis stated that he has received complaints about sub-standard service since the closing of the C.N.R. station in Aurora. Davis: "Resolved that the Clerk send a letter to all Industrial and Commercial Simmons: establish!nents in the Town of Aurora and the Chamber of Commerce: a) to find out their feelings on the standard of service now being provided and if it is determined that the service is as bad as it is understood that the Council meet with the C.N.R. and; b) further that we request comments on the need for a Customs Clearing Office in Aurora." CARRIED Councillor Simmons gave Notice of Motion that a By-Law be prepared to control the abandoning of old refrigerators and for the means of controlling how they may be left and requiring that doors be removed. Councillor Harris gave Notice of Motion -Consideration of a Motion to amend the S.T. & M. designations of Zoning By-Law 1822. Councillor Harris gave Notice of Motion -a resolution to bring about a meeting of the Principals regarding the Senior Citizens Departments (namely, Ontario Housing Corp., Council and the land owners).
