Department in which the Committee respectfully submit
the following:

The Committee met and subsequent to a study of tenders
received recommend that the following purcljases for
1964 be authorized.
Miller Paving Limited approximately 18,000 gals~ of
asphalt prime at a price of $0.2245 per gal.
Baker's Sand and Gravel approximately 250 years of
coarse sand at a price of .75 cents per yard.

And recommend the purchase of the Ford truck from

on the use of schools which had been returned for
clarification has been received. Mayor Davis replied

Councillor Child stated that at the April 2otg & 28th.
meetings a motion was passed to engage a consUlting
engineer to supervise the intallation of services in the
Sauro Sub~division, and asked if an engineer has been
engaged.
Mayor Davis replied the Engineering firm would be·
contacted and a date set for an interview •
Councillor Child asked -if the Proctor and Redfern
report on the sewage treatment plant had been received.

E.L. Ruddy sign at the Arena. Councillor Williamson
said thE matter will be discussed at the Arena Board
meeting later this month.
