MCBEE SYSTEM
OF ACCOUNTING
Reeve Stoddart preaented a report of the Fjnance
Committee in which the Committee respectfully
submit the following:
A meeting of theFi~~oo Committee was held at the
office Friday, April 3rd. at 9.30 a.m. with the
following present:
Mayor Davis, Reeve S~oddart, Deputy Reeve Mrs,
Moffat, Councillor Patrick and the Auditor,
Mr. Dean Tiunl?P·
On the recommendation of the auditor is is
recommended that the McBee system be installed for
the recording and payment of accounts be instituted
with a target date for ~hangover June 1,1964.
It is the opinion of this Committee that the McBee
system when installed and working properly will
eliminate some duplications of office procedures4
The Town would appear too small for the expense
of machine accounting and this system is a com-
PTOmise until machine accounting is warranted,
The estimated cost is $550.00 and some of the
supplies' will last several years.
STODDART: "Resolved that the report of the Finance
mOFFAT: Committee dated April 6,1964 be approved
and the Seal of the corporation be
attached hereto,"
Carried,
Councillor Chile verbally reported that he hopes
to have soon, another meeting On the Zoning By-law,
