Mr, Addison requesting an appoint
-ment at his earliest convenience
to meet with Council and members
of the Industrial Board,"

~eputy Reeve Moffat presented a report of the
Committee and the Committee respectfully
submitt the following:
The Committee met on Monday January 20,1964
at lO,a,m, with Mr, Fitzpatllick,·a solicitor
representing Miss Shirley White, re the
matter of a bus franchise and subsidy,
Mr. Fitzpatrick outline~1 Miss Whiters request
and submitted certain operation figures and
statistias for the year 1963,
The Committee felt that the infommation
sutmitt d was not compleve enough and it was
noted that a breakdown of passengers was
requested of miss White last November but had
not yet been forthcoming,
Mr. Fitzpatirck advised he would submit a
complete and full brief to council in the
near future for further study, The matter
was then left in abeyance pending receipt of
this report •

"That on January 16 1 1964 the committee met for
the pnrpose of discussing water troubles,

Patrick also Mayor Davis, Reeve Stoddart
Councillor Child,
1. That the overhead tank be emptied and ole~nod
this ~~~iDg in March, if possible.
2. Locate drawing of elevated tank erected b~'
Horton Steel Cp.
3, Disaount pump.and motor in No, 2 pump house 9 so that a pieture can be taken of the well• to
see if the trouble can be located.
4, Cut the pipe at the south side of no. 2 pump
house so that the artesian flow can go to the
creek, ·

-ed that the crosswalks warning signs at town
entrances had been erected, Donati ens of $220,
from the Jaycees and $145. from the Safety Council
would be received towards the crosswalk lights

Police Committee in which the Committee respect-
fully submit the following:

]~yor Davis asked all members to study the list of
matters deferred for further consideration and
o~ittees report back to Council
Councillor Manning asked if any further word had
been received from Bellhill Construction to have
the sub-divider fix up Haida Drive roadway?
t~yor Davis replied no, Councillor Jones said a
few loads of gravel and grading would fill the pot
holes and should get Kelners written consent,
Councillor Patrick stated l\IJ:r, Kelner should be
brought to council and reprimanded for the
disgraceful condition of this street, lVIayor Davis
said he should be given until next council meeting
to make the necessary repairs,
