DRILLING
NEW WELL
-1.0-
D:EXJEMBER 16,1963,
J, Kirk of Internation Water Supply asked for ·· ·
Council's direction to drill the new well between
the present two pumping stations where a test well
has been drilled down 321 feet and will be a first
class well. He recommends a limit of 1 1 000 g,p,m.
as if it is over pumped it will "plug off" 1 also the
water should be double puniped, That the 1963 well
be .e=ained with a t.,v, camera and if the trouble
can't be found it is a dead loss, The test well has
cost ::t3,000, and a new well with a stain less steel
casing will be approx:i,mately$50 1 000, which will take
16 to 20 weeks to complete~ By locating the new
well at this place only a small $450, building
would be required as the controls could remain in
the present pump house,
