matter concerning Miss White's BusService would
be cleared up before election.
Mayor Nisbet replied that the committee would
not likely meet, and present a report to
council before Ele.ction, and added 1 that Council
should receive some indication of the vote

Reeve Davis reported on two items,
1. That a report re: firemen's request will be
sub~tted shortly,
n 2. He intends to arrage a meeting with King and
Whitchurch Townships re: Fire Agreement.
Councillor Moffat reported that the Parks Board
are receiving prices for a new fence in the
Town Park. Mrs. Moffat stated that if the
funds are· insuffi:Jient, one side will·. be done
at a time 1 beginning with the west side, A
chain link fence is the type being considered,

Collis Leather has now been connected, and
suggested that Collis be billed for the install-
ation, to cover the mens time,

Mayor Nis9et read a copy of the letter from the Ontario
Water Resources Commission directed to the Canadian
Mitchell Association Ltd, re Golf ~len Terraces
Subdivision services,
Mayor Nisbet stated that he and the Engineer had visited
the O,W.R,C, where they learned that the new general
manager D.S. Calverly was unaware that Dr, :Berry had -
approved the services in Golf Glen, however, would cert-
ainly grant approval if there is any indication that the
Sewage Treatment facilities will be enlarged,

treatment facilities, this council does hereby resolve

to indicate that it commits itself as far as legally
possible to co-operate with tho Ontario Water Resources
Commission. In the 1963 Ontario municipal Board Capital
Budget forcast which has been accepted by the Ontario
Municipal Board is included an expenditure of $300,000,,
for sewage treatment works for 1964. The firm of Proctor
and Redfern has been engaged, at a cost of $3,000.-to
produce a complete report, to-gether with recommendations
as to the best facilities economically possible for
treating the sewage of Aurora. Due to the lbove proced-
ures, and the former history of complete coo~operation
with the Ontario Water Resources Commission! and this·
commitment of co-operation with tho Onthrio Water
Resources Commission it is the wish of this Council that
the application p'osently before the CommiSsion be
approved, "

has received an appointment as riirmo.ger in a Toronto
Branch.
The Mayor suggested that letters of congratuLations be
sent to tho two parties,
Reeve Davis expressed thanks on behalf of the Davis
family during their. recent bereavement and wished the
Mayor's mother well, who is seriously ill in the -.
hospital.
