Carried, ~~ r·~·· -----~ r • I --~ ' 10TH REGULAR DELEGATIONS PORTABLE CHURCH REGENCY ACRES ...,9-May 21,1963, The only delegation of the meeting consisted of Ntr .• Smally and Mr. Wilson of Regency Acres and Reverend Davis, ]tinister of Regency Acres United Church, Ntr, Smalley, spokesman, presented a brief on the proposal plans for a church in Regency Acres. church Ntr, Smalley, reported, that a $65,ooolwill not be buil'"t, contrary to what was published, but, that interest is being shown on the portable one presently situated in Richmond Hill, The possible location is the lot on the west side of the extension of Murray Dr., north of the school grounds, However, problems arise from size of lot, services, and classification of the land, Jouncillor Child reported that this matter has been discussed at length by the Planning Board and the Board are quite satis- fied, REPORTS OF CO]I!MITTEES ,.,_,' ...... The meeting with Mr, McCaffrey and the Huffman Bros, were then tentatively arranged for Thursday, May 30th, at 7,30 and 8,30 p,m, respectfully, Deputy Reeve Stoddart enlightened report proposed by the Assessment at the 22nd annual meeting of the officers of Ontario, council on the Co=issioner Assesming Councillor Child asked Council to set aside 1st Tuesday in June for a joint meeting with Planning Noard and council to discuss the revised zoning by-law, Councillor Sinclair, unfamiliar with the zoning by-law stated he intend to condense and prepare a statement re: zoning by-law to be read at the meeting set aside for 1st Tuesday in June, 1"-' •-·~ I . Reeve Davis inquired as to the progress of the new pump, The Engineer, Mr, Murray replied that the piping should be completed to-morrow, and the pump contractors will be available shortly • The Mayor asked the engineer if the construction of the culvert on Industry St., and the Temperance St. project have commenced yet, The Engineer replied that he didn't know if the culvert had been delivered as yet, and that Mr, De La Haye would be installing it, that the work on Temperance St, has not yet started, Mayor Nisbet brought to councils attention the ~alkway belonging to Mr. Mee, 78 Jones Court, Councillor Jones reported that he and other Council members had viewed this walkway, were convinced that it was in satsifactory condition, and that no improvements by the town were necessary, JONES: CHILD: "That ~.IT>, Mee be informed tha-fWr~ holes have been filled and that Council agreed nothing more can be done by the Town to improvefhis walkway," Carried, The, Engineer, ll'fr, Murray,. brought to councils attention a complaint he had received from Mr. Beatty, concerning a washout on Huron Court which was due to the failure of a catch basin to hold water.
