Councillor Corbett reported that there is excessive
foam floating down the creek leading into the
Holland river. The method of eliminating this foam
would cost approximately $2oo.oo.

Councillor Jones reported the base portion of the
pavement complet.ed on old Yonge St. and that the .
top surface will be laid. in warmwea.ther next spring.
CQuncillor Jones stated that the hydrant on Welling-
ton st~ and Industry st. has been raised,
Qourioillor Jones stated that nothing had been done
about the parking restriction signs and further
that ~ on Rillview Rd.. have been completed. sewers
Counci11or Jones also informed Council re the flood•
ing in Regency Acres·-that a bypass is being instal-
led between the storm sewers and sanitary sewers
which will act as a safety measure and two sewers
instead of one. ·· ·
Councillor Murray suggested that this year all used
:xmas Trees be taken to the Town Park for a massive
bonfire on 'J'an ... 4th. to open our centennial year.·

Councillor. Sir«~lair reported that the North York
Humane Society has agreed to undertake the can:tine
and feline contr~l in Aurora for the year 1963
for a fee of $1,500,00.·
SINCLAIR: "That we approve the offer of $1,500,
CHILD: to the Nor th York Humane Society for
~nnim~ control for the year 1963, and
that the same be reviewedat the end of
1963 and the seal of the Corporation shall
be attached hereto, And that the Mayor
& Clerk be authorized to sign an agreement
with the Society."

Committee in which the Committee respectfully submit

Councillor Moffat informed Council that she and
Councillor Jones had visited the Sewage Plant and
viewed the greenhouse. Councillor Moffat stated
that they were convinced that, because of the
meager amount offered, the town should retain it.._

Planning Board meeting the Town consultant had
:prepared a zoning map. He stated that at present
plans were being mallo to print this ma.p in its final
form o.nd compo.re it with the text. A Planning Board
meeting would be called eo.rly in 1963 to discuss
this matter further.
