Reeve Davis suggested they be allowed only in defined places. It was decided to prepare a by-law. Mayor Nisbet instructed tha Clerk to sent w~. Park to the Parks Board. , .... 11TH REGULAR MAYORS AND REEVES CONVENTION PORT ARTHUR FENCE -RE WALKWAY REGENCY ACRES STOP SIGNS EDWARD AND COUSINS DRIVES -13-June 4, 1962 Mayor Nisbet and Reeve Davis reported their inability to attend Mayors and Reeves convention at Pprt Arthur. CHILD: DAVIS: "That a letter be forwarded to the Association express- ing regret of Mayor and Reeve and advise that there would be no official repre- sentative from Aurora Council," Carried, Councillor Corbett reported that Mrs. Shulty, 130 Glass. rive, wished reimbursement for fence erected on east side of a walkway as a wire fence had been . _erected on the west side and paid for by the Town, CHILD: DAVIS: "That this matter be left with the Property Committee for their action," Carried, Councillor Moffat reported onthe stop signs at Edward & Cousins being at different corners than stated in by-law 1452, Councillor Davinson said the Police Committee had studied this problem and decided that the signs are in the right place. Councillo!', Child presented a new map of the, Tovm ~ which was prepared for and on'information of Town Engineer S.T. Murray, and reg_uested copies be posted in the post office, bus officer schools and other public places in the town, The Planning Committee to work out the cost of same with the Engineer.
