After some discussion on the major issues it was advised to be placed before the School Board for correction. COMMITTEE REfORTS Deputy Reeve Nisbet.presented a report of the Police Committee Re: the application for a taxi license by Mr. Donald A • Campbell. . It was decided that the matter be set aside for the next meeting. J and Allied Chemical are finalizing ~what bonding process should be applied~ Mr. G.u. Proctor advised that Horton Steel would inspect the old standpipe for $150.00 a day and expenses. On questioning Mr~ Proctor it was learned that if the inspec.tic:m proved the tank to be in good condition, thers was a possibility of selling to another town. · Deputy Reeve Nisbet questioned Mr~ Proctor on whether they intended to use the ~mpellers which were now at the waterworks and he advised that they were unsuitable for the new operation. Reeve Davis questioned Mr~' Proctor concerning the water testw1 in Aurora· .Heights and he advised that the last test taken on Tuesday August 26 was unsatisfactory. ·The bacterial count which while present was by no1:: means 'dange:r;ous, but required a further flush- ing or chlorination and then -should be tested. Deputy Reeve Nisbet invited all members of the a meeting of the Water Resources.Commission and Disposal Plant on September 16th, 1958. NISBET: STODDABJR: "That we do not go in on private property to cut up trees., but will remove brush if it be placed on the town property by the owner. Rowever if requested we will do the,work at cost on private property.". · Carried. Mr. Adair received a telephone call about backing up a. storm sewer on Harrison Ave. at the residence of David Hill and it was suggested that the Mr. Browning, Town Superinendent, report to Council:at a following meeting. Mr~ Lee requested approval to proceed with the deeding over of Block A & B of Aurora Developments to the Town of Aurora. NISBET: CHILD: "That instruction be given to Mr. Lee to proceed with negotiations o f obtaining the property of Sankey~ Sheldon from Vanek." Carried. Mr. L.c.
