Mr. Ivan Dadson appeared .before Council• and reques-ted action
on the completion of certain .repair and grading ~;ork on tolm
streets. Council advised that The Consumer's Gas Company
~rere responsible for this work and Mayor Murray was to call •
Mr. o. Jones of that company.Tuesday morning, and make
arrangements for completion of this 1<1ork.

Mr, Donovan appeared before Council concerning inadequate
supply of ~rater on Tyler Street where he resided. Reeve Davis
~tated that the Waterworks Foreman would investigate this matter
and report back to Council.

Disposal Plant, and expressed dissa'tisf'actionWith the Engipf:lers
in connection with their.es~te and :final costs. In addition,

Mr. Gordon Proctor advised council that there would be a :full
report at the next meeting of council,

Relief Committee.
Counbillor Davidson reported concerning, medical assistance
for Mrs. Clara Beckett.. He had contacted Dr. Urquhart but
Dr. Urquhart had not, at that time, received the X-rays •
. ; CouncllJ:i:lr Davidson reported that. this indeed was a worthy
case and in dire need of·. assistance. It was recommended
thattrerelief officer have Mrs. Beckett prepare·•an
application for relief in an amount of up to $,30.00 per
month.

Councillor Child reported concerning Aurora Hei~ts
Subdivision application for tl}e building of 250 homes.
Councillor Child 1 s report followed that after careful
consideration of the proposlil of the Aurora Heigh'!;s·Ltd.
to: ~noreaae the number of homes from 166 to 250 in ~he
first. stage of their development. This-Colilrilittee fe~ls
that if this amount was reduced 200 Council'should be
willing to make an amendment -to the Sub:-DiV"iders Agreement
of this Company, providing that•in the a.me1;1d.ment a time
limit of two years is set for these house's to be built.
Also, that the.Capitalpayment !ilum be paid on each house
rather than each·lo~ in the case ot the semi..:detached houses
and that same be also included in the amend.ment. In the
event that the two hundred houses are not built within the
twe;;:year period the amend.mtmt would become rtu:O.. and void
and the requirements of the orilljinal sub-diVider's agreement
would apply.· ·· ·· ·. · • .
The matter of the number of semi-detached houses
has been discussed with the members·· o'f the Planning Board,
and they are in agreements with the layout of the semi-
detached houses submitted. but would still limit them to 4o.
