MEETING -9-15th OCT,1957 Councillor Davidson further reported on Mrs.Clara Beckett and it was agreed that the matter be discussed with Dr. Urquhart and referred to the next meeting. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Deputy Reeve Jones reported on a reconwendation from Procto~ and Redfernfor payment No.2 Release of 10% holdback in favour of Warren Bituminous Paving Company L~ted in the e~ount of $513.96. DAVIS: JONES: "That the Clerk be instructed to pay the above- mentioned account". Carried. Deputy Reeve Jones further brought to the attention of Council letters from Mr.S,J. Kelnor, B.A. concerning the Town 1 s share in the cost of a sidewalk at Yonge and Mosley Streets. JONES: "That we pay Samuel Kelnor $350.00 towards STODDART: the cost of repaving Mosley Street sidewalk and Yonge Street sidewalk bordering the Kelnor building and laneand the;Seal of the Corporation be attached hereto 11 • Carried. At 11 o 1 clock p.m. Reeve Davis moved that the meeting continue until business t•ras completed. NEW BUSINESS The letter from the Aurora Junior Hockey Club was referred to the Sports and Publicity committee~ Mr. Lyle Sparks request for extension of the existing agreement for one year was referred to the next council meeting. Councillor Adair spoke briefly on the matter of planting new trees around the Sewage Disposal Plant. Councillor Davidson brought up the matter of notice concerning the shutting off of water in the tot~. Mayor Murray advised that this matter ~1as being looked into.
