Deputy Reeve Jones presented the following written report. Subject: Paving of Streets. · l. The Committee respectfully submit·the following: That on Tuesday, June 11th 19.57 the Committee met for ~e purpose of discussing the possibility of the paving of' Centrec· Street ·from Yonge to Spruce S;treet as requested some time ago'• All members of the Committ.eewere·present, also-Councillors Stoddart and Adair, and we recommend that Ce.ntre Street be paved under the Local Improvement Act as requested, also that Mosley Street be re-surfaced from Yonge Street to Berczy if ,..,. "That Mr. Spence be notifed that it 111ill be. necessary for him to make application for a new water lead to be put in by the Town from the main to the street line at a cost to Mr.Spence of $25.00 11 • Carried.
