around the Disposal Plant. Councillor Adt<ir reported that Iii-
number of trees belonging to the Parks Board on school land on
George Street will have to be removed. Instructions "tlere given

The Mayor notified Council of a,Planning Meeting at which rep-
resentatives of all municipalities and Planning Boards in the
County would be present to,discuss planning on a county basis
to be held in Aurora on April 2nd, and invited members of
Council to this meeting.
The Mayor also informed Council of an invitation to Port Union
to see the making of Asbestos Cement Ptpe.at-the Johns-Manville
plant. It >ras agreed to visit '!;his plant on the 9th April 19.57.
Mayor Murray then reported on the condition of the Chief of Police • .
Councillor Nisbet asked for a meeting on employees salaries and
wages, and 1-t t'las agreed to hold. this meeting on Monday, April 8th.
Reeve Davis reported on ·the condition of a 'l>ratermain on Wells St.
also on the condition of a meter for the Collis Leather Company.
