Committee:· 00
The Committee respectfully submit the following:
On Octob~r 29th your committee met with The Fire Brigade~ ,Also
present crere Councillors Child, Bailey,, Davidson and Nisbet.
Subject was By-La1>r No. 1110. After considerable discussion the
following recomm!)ndations vrere made. To change Clause 2 to: read.
to consist Chief, Deputy, tvro cap;tains, 2 Lieutenants ~md not
less than 16 firefighters • .Olause 3 to change to read (age limit)
members -55 years of age, officers -65 years of age.
No.4 Clause 1. ·If replacement to be mao.e to be recommended by.
Brigade and appointed by Council. No. 4 Clause 3. Change to read
All officers who are volunteers shall be elected annua.lly by
the Brigade. Clause 4 change to read : Nevr members voted on by

at the bridge north of the Disposal Plant, and the effect on the
