MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBER ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 19 56 AT 5 P.M.

The. extension to the Waterworks system .now being carried. on
wa.il disc_ussed at length. Representatives of Proctor, Redfern
and. Laughlin and also the Waterworks Superintendent attended
before the Council to discuss this'matter,

services is estimated to.be $2,500.00,
That the above work be financed out. of the
debenture for the extension of the water system,
and that the Seal of the Corporation be.attached

Consideration was given t"o the replacement of the roof on the
present Disposal Plant pumphouse.

"That the existing building at the Disposal Plant
be re-roofed to conform with the new addition at
an approximate cost of $100,00, theroofing
colour to be black and the Seal of the Corporation
be attached hereto and be an-extra on the Disposal
Plant Contract."

Street North.

Councillor Bailey spoke further on the request of Mr. Mason for
the <sewer applica.tion. · ·
Reeve Davis reported on the meeting held at the Aurora Fire Hall
to discuss mutual aid for f'ire protection w·i thin York County. . '
Councillor Davis askec1 for information on the ,,.ell-drilling
pr'oblem, and was informed that the •rell-driller had not made
much progress over the last few weeks.
