discussed, Reeve Davis reported' that 'the owner ,of the land
adjoining the lot'in question had not agreed to permit the laying
of the sewer acr_oss. the front of her property. ,
Councillor Child reported on odours· iri the tow from Collis
Leather Company, and this matter was discussed at length.

condition of the C.N.R. roadways, the laying of gravel on

Reeve Davis reported that Mr. Bodfish had permitted the town to
USe a temporary Water COfirlect!ori from his''building on ::(ortge-Y·
Street to the Simpson building~· duri!lj:fthe period when tl:ie
watermain had been cut off at the old Totom Hall.

The installation of a fire hydrant on Victoria ~treet
was discussed, and it-was reported that the necessary
material had not yet beenre:cei.ved to install this
hydrant. The Clerk was instructed to check this
matter to find out why the work had not been done.
The matter of legal representation at the Annexation
Hearing on November 27th 1956 waa discussed, and left
for further discussion at a Committee Meeting at a
later evening.
