Councillor Child presented the following .report of the: Special:·.
Committee re. the installation .of a pump for using creek water
at the Arena.
Subject: Installation of Pump at the Arena to use creek water.

J. Robinson advised that h,e had been in touch with Mr.D. Bassett
who stated that it' we so wished he could obtain anemgineer. It

On Monday, Nov. 5th 1956, a call was received from Mr. D. Bassett
stating that Mr. A. Andrew, engineer of the Southern Industries

the pump.

He further recommended that at least a 4 1 diameter tile
be set in the east bank of the creek and that it should
be surrounded with gravel no smaller than the size of a
bean to a depth of 18 11 as per the attached sketch.

at the Arena be adopted, and that approximately
$500.00 be allocated for this installation, and
. that the seal of the Corporation be attached

Carried.
Mr. L. Rosenberg attended before the Council with regard
to the side~alk on Mosley Street in front of the new bank
building. It was agreed to have the Streets Committee meet
with representatives of the owners of the building.to
discuss this matter.
