SUBDIVISION AGREEMENTS
The.proposed agreements with Mr. A.L. Qousins and MI-. \'l.R.
Case.for the opening of their subdivisions were discussed
at length. The provision of industrial and commercial
assessment to equal the residential assessment on the sub-
division was discussed.

Reeve Davis reported on repairs needed to the waterworks
truck• Instructions were given for prices to be: obtained
for these repairs.
The services to the Simpson buil!iing were discussed.The clerk
was instructed to obtain the costs for laying sewer and water
leads to this building, and also to contact Mr. S.J. Kelner
to obtain permission to lay sewer and water leads along the
laneway at the back of the adjoining property.

Deputy Reeve Jones reported on the damage to curbs and gutters
during the removal of the hydro poles from Yonge Street.

was considering the work to be done on sidewalks this year.
Deputy Reeve Jones also reported that the town foreman had

for a By~law to be prepared for this appointment.

Councillor Stoddart reported on the negotiations with Mr.· & Mrs.
P.D. Lloyd for the acquisition of land and easements for the
sewers and pump-house east of the railroad track.
Councillor Stoddart reported that he has received a letter from
Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd to the effect that they would deed to the tovm
the necessary land and easements.

Councillor Nisbet reported that Mr• B. Harris had agreed to look
after the wash rooms in the Town Park. He also reported that
the fence at MdMahon Park had been repaired.
Councillor Nisbet reported that Messrs. Curran and Briggs were
to do paving work at the Imperial Oil Service Station on Yonge
Street South and suggested that they be asked to place asphalt
where necessary in the gutters on Yonge Street South as
previously promised. The clerk was instructed to request Mr. Briggs
to have this work done.
Councillor Nisbet also presented certain requirements for the
Disposal Plant.

Councillor Davidson reported on an application for a new sewer lead
for a house on George .Street.

11 That the ownerbe asked to pay the actual expenses
of the town in providing this sewer lead up to a
ma;ltimum .of $50.00. n :

Councillor Bailey asked a question on the purchase of land from
Mrs. Hillary and also on the amendment to the Land Use By-law, which
had be~n submitted to the Ontario Municipal Board for approval.
The contracts for the construction of the additions and alterations
to the s. ewage Disposal .Plant and for the _purchase o.f machinery for
the Sewage Dispoaal Plant were then presented to the Ooun.cil.
