The Committee respectfully submit the following: The Committee has discussed the ·Builrling Inspector's remunera.tion, and the fees for building inspection and now recommends the follow- ing:- 1. That the scale of fees provide·as follows: for building permits be increased to Private Garages Dwellings. Demolitions & Signs. Councillor Davidson asked that some action be taken on a revision of the Fire Brigade By-law·. DAVIDSON: NISBET: "That the.Fire Brigade By-law be reviewed by the Fire and Water Committee and the Bylaws Committee with a view to preparing an amendment. to the By-la1>r 11 • Carried• 69 70 -4- Councillor Nisbet asked that. some provision. be made to restrict parking on Victoria Street in the ·vicinity of the Fire Hall. Councillor Child asked a question dealing with legal representation/cases against the town. in , Councillor Corbett asked that the grading of sidewalks at int~rsections be considered to assist people in wheel- chairs, and for baby carriages.
