and the fees for building inspection and now recommends the follow-
ing:-
1. That the scale of fees

Councillor Davidson asked if the seat-ends had yet been
made by the Waterworks staff, and w·as informed that they
were now in the process of being made,
The request of Mr~ Charles Southwood for a license to
operate a pool-room was further considered.

Councillor Nisbet reported on the repairs required to the
compressors at the Disposal Plant;.
Councillor Davidson asked that some action be taken on
a revision of the Fire Brigade By-law·.

the Fire and Water Committee and the Bylaws
Committee with a view to preparing an amendment.

Councillor Nisbet asked that. some provision. be made to restrict
parking on Victoria Street in the ·vicinity of the Fire Hall.

informed that the owner of the property was intending to

Councillor Child reported on matters dealing with
proposed subdivisions, and asked for a meeting of the
Planning Committee to deal .,;ith this matter.
Councillor Child asked a question dealing with legal
representation/cases against the town.

Councillor Corbett asked that the grading of sidewalks at
int~rsections be considered to assist people in wheel-
chairs, and for baby carriages.
The meeting then adjourned.
