of the old Town Hall building was considered. It was decided to
recommend that this building, be offered :for, sale by t!lnder, stipulating
in the advertisement that a building comparable to the,Imperiai bank

It was agreed to recommend that this lot be advertised :for sale by

dealt with, and was informed that the town men had been wor~ing

Street east oaused by a truok owned by the Bell Telephone Co.

Councillor Bailey requested information on the closing of
Pub;Lic places on New· Year's Eve a,nd this-matt.er was discussed
briefly.

the Minister of Planning and Development on the proposed
Case sub-divi~n before final approval could be given.
Councillor Child also reported on the proposed industrial sub-
division on Weliington Street West.

and it was agreed that no proclaimation was necessary.

NESBIT: "WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the

STODDART: Town of Aurora, deem it expedient and desirable to con-
struct sanitary sewers on Ross Street, Mary Street,
Wellington Street from C.N.R. right-of-way to east limit of thw
the Corporation, and on Centre Street from C.N.R. right-of-way
to east limit thereof and extending south to Wellington Street,
a sewer pump house on Lot 106, Plan 246, Aurora, a trunk sewer
therefrom extending southerly to Wellington Street and a forcemain
extending from the pump house to a strip of land extending
easterly from Centre Street and Westerly along such strip of land
and Centre Street to Catherine Street and to acquire a sewer
easement over such strip of land.

AND WHEREAS a proposed By-lat"r covering the construction
of suoh works has had two readingsof the Council of the Corporation.
AND WHEREAS the Ontario Municipal Board desires that
a resolution be passed by at least a two-thirds vote of all
members of the Council of the Corporation deolaring the
desirability ofconstruoting the proposed worksl·as local
improvements. . .. !

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. , ~hat this Council now declares that the construction
of the said proposed works, the construction of suoh works
beirig set' forth in a proposed By-la:w which has haG. two read.ings
by at least a two-thirds vote of all members of the-.Co\incil,
as a local improvement, is desirable for purposes of serving
the residents, located east of the C.N.R~ right-of-way, located
east of the C.N.R. right-of-way~ ·
