CORREStONDENCE
A letter from the York County Juvenile & Frunily Court
announcing the opening of the Court and Court Offices in
Aurora was read,

BAILEY: Carried,
Delegations.
Mr. J, Marro~·r attended before Council to request infor-
mation on a proposed building on Cousins Drive.
This matter was discussed briefly,
Mr. Lorne C. Lee attended before Council on behalf of Mr.
Frank Miller to discuss the proposed Miller sibdivision,
This matter w·as discussed and left for further consideration
when Mr. Miller could attend before the Council,

Dep. Reeve Jones presented the following report:
11 1he Committee respectfully submltt the following-
That on Saturday Nov, 26th we looked over the trees
requested to be trimmed and out by the Hydro. Members
present Jines and Nisbet with Mr. Copland. Reeve Murray
unable to be present,
Recommend that the Hydro be permitted to trim and out
the neoeRsary trees but not to do more trimming than is
really necessary.n

~NFINISHED BUSINESS
The condition of Tyler Street after the laying of the
watermain at the west end of the street was reported upon
by Deputy Reeve Jones.
The Engineer was instructed to do the necessary work on
the street.

The erection of an:;partment house on Yonge St. North was
further considered and the suggested amendment to the Land
Use By-law w-as discussed.

11 That the issue of the permit for tlliis building
be held up until the Solicitor·and the Clerk can
obtain furt er information on the proposed amend-
ment to the By-law 11 •

Councillor Nisbet asked for a meeting of the ~roperty Committee
and the Clerk was instructed to call meetings of the·Property,
Finance and Planning Uommittees for Monday November 28th.
Wouncillor Davidsonmked for the application by·Mr. T. McGhee
for a building permit to be re-considered.

Carried.
Mr. Frank Miller then attended before the Council to -dlscuss
