A special meeting of Council was held in the Council Chambers on
Thursday Oct. 24th 1946 at 5.25 p.m. with the following members present;
Mayor Linton in the Chair, Deputy Reeve A.A.Cook; A.N.Fisher; S.G.:i'atrick;
R.V.Smith~
COOK, FISHER; That leave be given to ~ntroduce a By-law to Make Applicatin
for extention of time for returns of Assessment and that the same be now
read a first time•
FISHER, SMITH; That the By-law now before the Council be read a second'.
time and that the Council dissolve itself in to a committee of the whole
for that purpose~
SMITH, PATRICK; That the By-law now before the Council be read a third
time this day and that Rule 22 of By-law # 862 be suspended for that
purpose.
COOK, SMITH; That the third reading be taken as read, Carrie&~
COOK, Fisher; That the No· Parkingsigns intended for the conven,ence
of the Buses on Yonge St. be changed and their intended purpose be
made more definite, this being left in the hands of the Streets Comm~
Meeting adjourned at 5.45 p.m.
