Dr.Gunton for the In~duatrial Conmittee reported on s.everal prospects in
connection parti1Nlar1y ¢th the Fleury~Bissell-Grover property, a.hd it
was decided to refer anything definite in this line to Mr.L.EoBissell.

MALLOY.sPARKS• Whereas the AU!rera Boys Band has again. brought unusual honor
ta. our M~icipali ty in having won second prize in keell ·competition in the
intermediate class at the Canadian National .Exhibition;-
Be it therefore lfesolved that tiq.a Council ~end to the Aurora Boys Band,
and it's leader, Mr.Robert Moore,~ aongratul~;t.tions on their splen~d
achievement , and further, that this Council, in recognition of the high
honor they have brought to our Town, and also in appreciation o:r their
services rendered from time to time, purchase and have presented to each
Member of the Band and it's Leader, suitably inscribed silver medals, such
medals to cost approximate1y. $40 .oo, and that the seal of the Corporation
be attached thereto. ·· Carried.
Also to WmoThompson, 'ldnner of first honor for Euphonium solo•
MALLOY.COOK • That the Mayor and Finance Commd.ttee be authorized to purchase
s:ilver medals to be presented to the Boys: Band. Carried.
