FARR SPARKS that the awn of $25.00 be paid to Ray Rollings for garbage coll-
eetion,an-inerease in his remuneration for the term ending May 4th.1940.he agree-
ing to continue hia services on the same terms as heretofore till that da.te,thia
in consideration of the increased rental charge made by the owner of the dump grou
nd against himtand that the seal of the eorp,be attached. Barried.
SPARKS HENDERS.ON that the clerk be authorised to purchase 400 feet of snow
fence and standards for use of the town foreman and that the seal of the corp.
be attached hereto. Carried•
A. :Bylaw was introduced by liif.r.Stuart,given its sever&l. readings and passed,
empowering the treasurer to collect a proportionate amount of business tax as
would have been levied,before starting businesa,from anyone who is not licensed
under the Transient 'l'raders Bylaw and who begins buainesa in any year after the
assesSI1ent has been takent.

consol.id&ting yhe bylawa now in force governing the. handl.ing and sell.ing of
mil.k and cream and the l.icencing of the dealers.
A bylaw wa.s introduced and given ita first and second readings to provide fer
the issue of debent'lires: to cover a. portion o:f the coat of' the improvE!IIlents made
to t:he High School. for the additional courses undertaken in 1938•
