Mr.Stuart read a letter from the H.E.P.c. regarding a tree in an alleged dang-
erous condition on the w.W.Property,offering to trim and repair it for a.n estim-
ated figure of eighty five dollars.The matter was referred to the E.L.committee
for a. report,.cm motion of Messrs .Knowles and Hulse.
Messrs.Browning and .Jones appeared for the Ji'ire Brigade~asking that rooms for
their meetings and a club room be provided by moving the partition in the court
room: a few fee"t eas·terly thus providing a room in the we at end of the upstairs".

in the Ontario Gazette,in the case of tax sales·.instead of the local paper was
referred to the By-laws committee on motion of Messrs ""nowles and Lee.
A letter stating that the collector is not bonded and t~t of the treasurer
considered insufficient,.from the Dept.of Municipal Affairs was filed.on motion of

KNOWLES LEE that the clerk be instructed. to write the Milk Control Board
expressing'o~·regret that nothing has been accomplished relative to the milk
situation in town and cal~ing attention to the fact that other dairies are being
called upon to pay a licence even though no protection is afforded.Carried.
HULSE B.ALDWIN that the sum of $25.000 , be granted to the Fire Brigade for
paymen( of th~ ·c:~re of the fire tru~k. during 1935 by s.Patrick and that the seal
