THJil THIRTEENTH IimETING OF THE COUNCIL FOR THE YEAR 1934 was held in the

Council room on Friday eve.July 2o7th.at 8.30 with the mayor pres.iding and the
-Reeve Deputy Reeve and oouncillors Bunn Bowman and Stuart in attendance.
mr.n.K.Fleming was present and briefly outlined the natare of the s~ri~i
earth througn which the contractors dug in their efforts to secure a sufficient
depth of water bearing strata at the Billing property and.after disappointment
there.at the Ransom street well location and the success obtained there.
The w.w.committee verbally reported the results of their interviews with
Mr.and-~s.C~Niebet in their negotiations for the purchase of a small parcel of

KNOWLES BUNN,that a parcel of land.for the puppose of locating the con ...
structed well~being twenty five feet from east to west,and fifty feet from north
to south ,and beginning on the point intersecting the property of Mr.and Mrs.
Colin Nisbet with that of Mr.amd Mrs.J.R.Young,on the line of the south side of
Ransom St.in the town of Aurora0 be purchased from Mr.amd Mrs.Colin Nisbet for the
sum of $250.00 (.two hundred and fifty dollars );that an immediate payment of A
$25.00 (twenty five ) be made to Mr•and Mrs.Nisbet as a guarantee;that our sol-
ioitor be instructed to safeguard our interests in title to the said parcel.and
that the seal of the corporation be attached hereto• l!rarried.
Council adjourned.on motion of the JJeputy Reeve and Mr.Bowmen.
