the Council.. Cha:rilb~r on' Monday eve.Oct.3rd.wi th t.he Mayor presiding and the Reeve
Deputy Reeve and Councillors Boulding and Dei·aHaye in attendance.
The minutes of the preceding regular and special meetings were read
and adapted.
Mr.Thornton appeared on behalf of the Poultry and Pet Stock Assn.and
Messrs.McKee and Walton on behalf of the Globe Indemnity Co.
Communications were read and tabled as follows;appl.ication for water

the usual terms,of M.Jarvis for twenty horse power electric current,be granted.
and thatfue application of the Aurora Flour and Feed Co.for increased power under

KNOWLES,BOULDING.that the Bylaws Committee be instructed to bring in a
' Bylaw at the next regular Council meeting to make provision to grant the petition
· of the Barbers and allied trades. CarrieP, •
Mr.Bilbroagh arrived and was seated.
SOUTHWOOD,LEGGE,that the claim of Geo.Leeder for ten dollars for two sheep
killed by dogs be paid,amd that the seal of the Corp.be attached hereto.Carried.
BILBROUGH,KNOWLES,that the applicatio~ of Mr.J.G.M:cDonald on behalf of the
• Public School Staff for the use of the Arena for_ ""allowe' en frolic be granted.
Carried.
SOUTHWOOD.BOULDING,that the usual grant of twenty five dollars to the
Aurora Poultry and Pet Stock ~ssociation be made and the seal of the Corp.attached
to this resolution. Carried.-

BOULDING,LEGGE,that the salary of the Medical Officer of Health be four
hundred dollars per year,th&t the free administration of toxoid be hia responsibi
lity,and that the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution. Carried.
BILBROUGH,LEGGE,that the Mayor and Clerk be hereby authorised and instructed
to sign the agreement with J?Fleurys Sons,respeoting the pole line on l'emperance
St.orossing their property,and that the seal of the Corporation be attached to
this .resolution• Carried.
On motion of Messrs.Bilbrough and Knowles,the Council adjourned,at 11
