Council Chamber on Tuesday eve.Sept.6th.with the Mayor presiding and all the
Meabers in attendance.
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and adopted.
Communications were read from The Aurora.t:torticultural Soaiety.asking for
the usual grant;from Dr.Stevenson,regarding the use of toxoid and the salary of
the M.o.H.0from Mr.A.E.Jarvis,returning the cheque issued for the grant,the
iriais' n~t being, held-this season§ the Engineer on the Sewerage system,giving
the list of connections applied for and not as yet,constructed;the R.&.B.Comm.
,with a report on the inspection of streets and a list of t~e_proposed walks to
be construc.tedc.
Messrs.Browning and Jones appeared and asked that the Council assist the
Fire Brigade in finaneing the cost of the lunaheon to be provided the visiting
.ll'iremen on the occasion of their annual Church Parade.

BILBROUGH~KNOWLEs.that the application of the Horticultural Society for the
yearly grant of fifty dollars be granted,that the Council wish to congratulate
the Society on the splendid work they have been doing and that the seal of the
Corporation be attached to this resolution. Carried.
SOUTHWOOD,DELAHAYE,that a grant of twenty five dollars be made to the Fire
Brigade to help defray the cost of their church parade on Sept.25th.that the
Mechanics Hall be placed at their disposal for the day,and that the seal of the
Corporation be attached to this resolution. Carried.
A Bylaw was introduced by Mr.Legge,given its first reading,second in CamM.
in regular and legal form,third reading and was passed ana signed.providing for
the levy of taxes~for l932.and establishing a rate of thirty eight mills in the
dollar,the same as for several previous years•
BILBROUGH,STUART,that the Medical Officer of Health be instructed to pro-
cure from the Provincial Department of Health,a quantity of diptheria toxoid.and
to proceed with its distribution to all children whose parents are desirous of
such treatment,and that the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution
Carried.
BILBROUGH,LEGGE,that the application of a number of propert y owners for
sewer connection as lis ted with the Clerkbe accepted, the willrk to be done by town 1
labor,under the direction of Mr.Dunham and the supervision of the Engineer and be
proceeded with at once. Carried.

BOULDING DELAHAYE,that permission be granted to the Amateur Athletic
Association of Aurora,to hold a tag day in the town of Aurora at a future date
for t.he purpose of obtaining funds to assist in fostering amateur sport in
Aurora. Carried.
