Cuuncil Chamber on Monday evening,no-11'.2nd.with the Mayor presid.ing and all the
members in attendance.

The minutes of the prececUng meeting were read and confirmed .•
Deputations were present and addressed Council as foll.ows ;lile 8 srs, Thornton,
Hofland and Wootten,asking that snow fences be erected on Kennedy St,il!lessrs.Gould-
ing and Harman, respecting the Veterans Parade on Nov.ll th. ;and 0 .lvicBrio.e ,asking
for the position of icemaker at the arena during the 1[inter.
The folJ_owing communica.tions were read,an unsigned req_uest to endorse the
petition of the postmasters on North Yonge St.to have the afternoon delivery of 1

for negotiations at an early date.
STU&lT,LEGGE.that the application of Miss.I.Clark for water service be
granted. Carried.
SOU'rHWOOD,DELAHAYE,that the Aurora Veterans Association ·be authorised to

purchase a wreath for the to-.m at a cost of ten dollars,that they be given permiss-1
ion to hold tag days on Nov.7th.and llth.,that this Council accept the invitation
of the Association to attend the Armistice Day Service in a body,that they be grant-
ed the use of the arena for the evening of Nov.2lst.and that the seal of the Corp.
be attached to this resolutiom. Carried.
After a careful perusal of the plans for a sewerage plant,and some suggestion
for extensions in the system and the districts served,the Council adjourned,at
11.45, to meet on Tuesday eve .lfov.lOth.a t 7 .o•clock to further discuss the prop&s.ed
scheme,on motion of "'eeve Legge and Dr.Boulding.
