The minutes of the preoeding meeting were re ad and adopted. The Treasurer,Mr.J .G.M"cDonald,appeared before Council and presented the half + . . . yearly statement showing receipts and expenditures prpportionately as in former years,the collection of taxes on the first installment,and the col~ection of arr- ears,slightly greater than in preceding years,while the expenditures,making allowancE for the receipts and. expendituee in the operation of the arena,remain about equal to those of the years 1930 and preceding.
