Mr.McEown appeared before Co.uncil add asked for a contract to erect one or
more signs at the approaches to the town,fea.turing the water supply,altitude,
etc.which are cond.usiv-e to health.
The following collllllUnications were read and tabled; Light and Sound Engineeril1,
Co.andPoJoDouglas,regarding the installation of sound amplifiers in th~,arena;.

The clerk was instructed to invite the citizens of the town who are out
of employment to call and leave their names so that a register raay be kept.
After some time spent in examill1ing the plans for lighting the arena.,the
Council a.d.journed.,on motion of Messrs.Murray and DeLa.Haye.
