considering certain fea.tures connected with the progress of the rink.The Mayor I
presided and the Deputy Reeve and Councillors DeL~.southwood,Stuart a.'ld Underh~J~~
were in their chairs... .
The minutes of the p eceding meeting were read and adopted. I
KNOVILES UNDERKILL,.that the officials of the Electric Light Department be auth-~

orised to proceed a.t once with the wiring of the town arena,according to the spec-J
ifications and plans prepared by the town electrician,Mr.Langman,and that the seal
of the Corporation be attached hereto. Carried •
. After considerable discussion regarding alternative proposals,it was unanim-
ously agreed that the creek crossing in front of the arena should be carried throug~
I
two parallell lines of four foot diameter cement tile,and &nstructions were given i
for the purchase of sufficient tile for use Lmmediately,to cover twenty feet of the
creek.
It was agreed that the Council should interview the Acting Premier and Mr.Ellis. ·
the Controller of the funds for unemployment aid,with a proposal for assistance
in constructing a trunk sewer,estimates for which have been prepared by the Engineer

Council adjourned,on motion of Mesars.Southwood .and Stuart.to meet at the call
