The fourteenth meeting of the Council was held in the Council Chamber

The members were all in attendance.
The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Communications were received and read from the following sources,.
a.liT.Ry. regarding a. contract for Electric: light supply,.
· Public Health Assn .. re .ccmtinnance of Nursing Service,.
Miss Larkin submitted a report on i;he Boarding Eames for Infants.
Deputations were heard as follows,.
Kennedy st. Ratepayers regarding fire protection and water supply,
Mr • .r.G.M'cDan.aldand athersrega.rding cooperation in a Diamond .ruoilee
Religious Service in the Town park on Sunday afternoon .Tuly 3rd •
Messrs.A.and E:.Benisteel re .. financial assistance towards the continuance
of a switching servi.ce ta their factory ..
The R.&.R.Committee brought in a report recommending the following
construction.

action of the Mayor in issuing orders on the Treasurer for the paym.ent of

The appeals against the assesSlllent were all heard and were disposed
of in accordance with the attached signed list

Messrs .. Southmayd,.Adams and Knowleswere releived of assessment on
