The third meeting of the Council for the year was held in the
Council Ch!lJllber on Monday .evening March Sth.
All the J_Dembers being present.
The minutes .of the previous meeting was read and confirmed.
Communications were received and read from the following persons
n!lJllely :-New Toronto Council and Township of Scraboro re Metropoli-
tion School Area. Miss Chappell Secretary of the Public Health and
Child Welfare Association recommending the Council to pass a By~law
on the model of the Department of Health By-law for the purpose of
improving the mills: supply of the Town, Mr J. H. Knowles Sec. Treas
Libn.ry Board asking for a grant of $625.00 for 1926. The Finance
Committee presented a report recommending immedi1lte collection of
the arrears of taxes ~~d ~so the collection of so~e of the Hospital
bills that have been gharged to the Corporation.
Moved by Mr Andrews seconded by Mr Legge that the following accou-
nts be paid a.nd that the Mayor issue orders on the Treasurer for the
S!lJlle and that the seal of the Corporation be attached to this_ resolutiln.

Third Meeting continued.
Moved by Mr Andrews seconded by Mr Hancock that the grant of $625.00
as requested by the Library Board be granted and that the seal of the
Corporation be attached to this resolution.

' from collecting the following Income Taxes on the Roll of 1925.

the parties assessed having left Town .before Oct. 1st.

Finance Committee be received and appr:oved.

Moved by Mr Thompson seconded by Mr Taylor that the report of Auditors
be received and approved and the Mayor and Clerk sign, also abstract be
published in the Aurora B3lmer in two issues.

Moved by Mr Haricock seconded by Mr Knowles that the ~or:tg11-ge oti Mech3l'l-
ics Hall held by Ameli3. Brown be paid off. The bal3l'Jce at credit of the .
Hal.L fund be used for this purpose 3l'ld the bal3l'lce paid by the Town.
