The twelfth meeting of the Council for the ye:~.r w:~.s held in the Council
Ch:~.mber on Tuesd:~.y ~vening July 2€th.
The following members being present n:~.mely :-Mayor Walton, Reeve Legge
and Councillors Andrews, Bilbrough, Knowle.s and .Taylor.
The minutes of the previous meeting and confirmed.
'A .communication ·w.as received and read from Mr E. A. J:~.mes Engineer of
the Toronto 3.nd York. Roads Commission that on and after the 14th day of
July 1925, by an order in Council of the Ont:~.rio Goverment, Yonge Street
within the town of Aurar!!. which W!!.s formerly under the Toronto & York.
Roads Commission has been returned to the town of Aurora as a. town Street.
Moved by Mr Taylor seconded by Mr Bilbrough that the following accounts
be paid and that the Mayor issue orders on the Tre!l.surer for the saJIIe
and that the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution,namely-:

Leave was asked to introduce a By-law to au·~horise the construction
of a Watermain from a point mid distant between Maple Street and Catherine
Avenue, on the west side of Yonge Street, in the Town of Aurora, to the
site of the. college buildings on part of .Lot 84, concession 1, Township
of King.
Leave granted and By-13.w read a first time.
Moved by Mr Bilbrough seconded by Mr Knowles that the By-law uow
before the Council be read a second and third time this day and that
Rule 33 of By-law No 10 be suspended for that purpose.
Carried.
By-law read a second time 3.lld Council went into committee of the
whole Mr Taylor in the chair.
Committee rose and reported By-law.
By-law read a third time and passed.
Moved by Mr Taylor s_econded by Mr Bilbrough that the action of the
Mayor in siging Public Health Nursing Contract for the employment of
Miss Larkin for the term July 1st to January 1st 1926 at the rate of
Twelfth meeting continued.
$125.00 per month oe approved and that M. L. Andrews, Councillor, be
appointed as the representition of the Council on the Citizens Healbb.
Committee ;;nd that monthly reports be made to him and to the Chairman
of the Board of Health, md that the Clerk notify the Provincial
Department of Public Health of the particulars and claim the usual
grant from the Goverment.
Carried.
Council then adjourned to meet a.t the call of the Mayor.
