The fifteenth meeting of the Council for the year was held in the
Council Chamber ·Monday evening October 5th.
The following members being present namely:-Mayor W3.lton Reeve Legge
and Councillors Andrews, Bilbrough, Knowles, Taylor a.nd Thompson.
The minutes of the previous meeting :~nd confirmed.
Commurlications were received and read from the following persons.
Toronto General Hospital re the admission of Mr George Ryman to the
Hospital. F. A. Farlie re crossing opposite the War Memorial. Walter Davis
and John Simmerson asking to be releived from paying dog tax as they were
wrongfully assessed.
Moved by Mr ·Andrews seconded by Mr Legge that the following accounts
be paid and that the Mayor issue orders on the Treasurer for the same and
the. seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution, namely:-
C:u~adian General Electric Co. (sundries for Electric Dept)
Hydro-Electric Power Commission (power for August)
Mrs F. c. Bush (repairing Town flag)
Thomas Grimshaw (groceries for F. Smith Centre St)
do do R. Pugh)
E.J.Burls:e (mills: for Pugh)
Atteridge & Son (lumber for roads)
J. Fleury's Sons (tapping pipe etc College main )
Clerk (postage Waterworks)
