BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-
law No. 2213-78, as amended,
being the Zoning By-law of the
Town of Aurora.

WHEREAS the lands affect by this By-law are subject to a Holding "(H)" prefix in
conjunction with a zoning category, as permitted under Section 34 and 36 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990;
AND WHEREAS Council is satisfied that the conditions for the removal of the Holding
"(H)" prefix have been met in respect of the subject lands;
AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation ofthe Town of Aurora deems
it necessary and expedient to amend By-law 2213-78, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the "(H)" prefix preceding the Detached Dwelling Second Density
Residential Holding (H)R2-73 and (H)R2-74 Exception Zones, applying to the
lands shown on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-
law, is hereby removed.
2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and be effective
upon final passage thereof.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 121h DAY OF AUGUST, 2008.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 12TH DAY OF AUGUST,
2008.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law No. 5059-08.D
By-law Number 5059-08.0 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora, by removing
the "(H)" prefix preceding the Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential Holding
(H)R2-73 and (H)R2-74 Exception Zones applying to the subject lands. This by-law
enables the subject lands to be developed for their intended residential purpose.
