The twentieth meeting of the Council for the ye3.r W3.S held iu the Council Ch3.mber on Mond3.y evening November 24th. The following members being present Namely:-M3.yor Walton, Reeve Legge and Councillors A.ndrews, Bilt>rough and Knowles. Minutes of the previous meeting re3.d and aonfirmed. Communic:ttiuns were received a.nd read from the. following persons N3.mely :-Mr J. G. MeDon ald Secretary of the Aurora Memorial Association asl:s;ing the Council to appoint a Trustee outside their own members. Mr C. L. Wilson Superintendent of the Hydro-Electric Railway asll:ing the Council to prevent automobiles from parking on Wellington Street west that would interfere with Railway traffic. Mr H. Robbins re dog • tax. Mr L. M. CUmmerford asking remission of Income TaK on account of signed Marri:tge. A petition was presented by Mr J. H. L. Moved by Mr Audrews seconded by Mr Knowles that the Mayor and Clerk be authorised and instructed to sign an a.greement with the Canadian National Railways for the privelege of painting a sign ou the R9.ilway bridge at the subway said ageeement being da:ted Oct 15th 1924. Carried. Moved by Mr Andrews seconded by Mr Legge that the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby 9.uthirized to sign and 9.ffiK the Corporate Seal to a plan prepared by the Engineer of the Hydro-electric Power Commission Number 3715 showing loc3.tion of the Interch3.nge switchbetween the C3.n3.dian National R3.ilwa.y 3.nd the Toronto & York Railway at the subway on Yonge Street S3.id pl3.n to be submitted to the Bo3.rd of Railway Commissioners of C3.1'13.da for 3.pproval al'ld the issUal'ICe of an order to premit the use of the new switch on the E3.st side of the C. N. R.line in lieu of" the old one ~m its former loc3.tion on the West side of the line, under whil:lh order this Towns equity 3.rld rights in the old tra.ck and switch will be tral'lsferred to the new one. !f/ Carried.
