FOR 1924.
The nineteenth meeting of the Council for the year was held iti the
Council Chamber on Monday evening October 27th.
All the members being present.
The minutes of the previous meeting read and confirmed.
A petition W'is presented signed by Miss L. McCallum and fourteen
others for a l:u-ger water main on Larmout Street.
Moved by Mr Andrews seconded by Mr Legge tha.t the following accounts
be paid and that the Mayor issue orders on the Tre:~surer f6r the same
and th3.t the se:~l of the Corpora.tion be attached to this resolutio11,

Mayor in issueiug orders on the Treasurer for the payment of the
following bills be and the sa.me is hereby confirmed ':'lnd that the seal

Moved by Mr Taylor seconded by Mr Bilbrough that the 2 inch main be
extended Nirtherly on Larmont Street to the residence of Miss L Mc-
Callum pursuant to the Petition of the Ratepayers received.
Carried.
Moved by Mr Arrdrews seconded by Mr Thompson that the application of
Mr A. Langman for the position of Town Electrician be accepted.
Salary to be $25.00 per week, with house, heat, light and water; duties
to be properly and thol!'oughly defined. by By-law, and that the seal of
the Corporation be attached to this resolution.

Moved by Mr Andrews seconded by Mr Legge that the Finance Committee
recommend that the sale of the Debentures for the Wellington Street
West Pavement be advertised in the Aurora Barmer, aud that the Clerk
be instructed to forward a circular to e:l.ch Bond Company who suomitted.
a tender on the l3.st issue, Tender to be received up till noon on Nov.
20th aud th:l.t the se:U of the Corporation oe attached to this resolutiou·
